When this carbon is graphitized in an electric resistance furnace, the amorphous carbon structure transforms to crystalline graphite. This is called Graphite.

CIP (Cold Isostatic Pressing) is a method of cold hydrostatic pressure molding usually known as “rubber press”. We have one of the largest rubber-press molding containers in Japan with an inner diameter of 98″~h118″ (2,500mm to 3,000mm).

The CIP method involves transmitting a pressure with a liquid; in other words, it is a method of applying Pascal’s law to powder molding. When powder is sealed in a rubber bag which has little transformation resistance and liquid pressure is applied, all of the powder surfaces receive the same compressive force equal to the liquid pressure so that the powder is compressed and molded isotropically.

There are three types of graphite designated by the production method: Isotropic, Extruded and Moulded.[/vc_column_text][vc_row_inner][vc_column_inner width=”1/2″][vc_column_text]Graphite has unique properties that means it can be used in a variety of different applications, namely[/vc_column_text][vc_column_text]

Good electrical conductivity and high thermal conductivity

Low thermal expansion, resulting in high thermal shock resistance

Strength at high temperatures

Chemical inertness and non-wetting to glass and most metals

Self lubricity

Easy to machine to even into complex shapes

[/vc_column_text][/vc_column_inner][vc_column_inner width=”1/2″][vc_single_image image=”1091″ img_size=”full” onclick=”link_image”][/vc_column_inner][/vc_row_inner][/vc_column][/vc_row]

[vc_row][vc_column][vc_single_image image=”5944″ img_size=”full” alignment=”center”][vc_custom_heading text=”What is Graphite?” use_theme_fonts=”yes”][/vc_column][/vc_row][vc_row][vc_column][vc_column_text]In general, carbon is produced by carbonizing mixed coke substances with pitch binders in a baking furnace.
